I clean up the bloody MESS from all the surgical studies of the new samples from the attack. What a fowl smelling alien creature I can not get the rank out of my nose or mouth.

*drops a glass with shaking hands still freaked out*

(Conny/aka Perry): "Watch it... your on thin ice aren't you.." he said enjoying it too much. He only had sympathy for Landon.

Vanessa:

*Hears Landon crashing around in the next room.*

Dr. Ra:

I give Connie a look to shut it. Where there times I wish I could go back to being a hybrid like him, maybe so. But I was determined to stand out among them.

(Connie): "Let me help you out! You've not been one help cleaning this lab you know! People are blind and do more then you!" He fusses going over there before he breaks something valuable.

Odette had JAMIE and this new wraith Starker that I REALLY did not want captured just to tell everyone I had her in the chamber for days. I still haven't been busted about Bane.. I just said I put him in one of his nice holding planets since we didn't need him smoking us all out at Rubytime.

THIS might have been my moment. I'm not sure why I was punished, I considered doing botched surgery on them punishment's enough. But I guess that one little joke I said got on someone's nerves.

((This is a newly discovered species, I do not know but the upgrade should work like all of your other's ...retractable.))

I advise her wondering if this would benefit the species at all outside kink.

We all had to work extra hard now but I know I cant ever be truly appreciated not like Dad and Bane were, the King and his ..female insecurities means we can never have THAT much power.

oh so obviously that it was disgusting and desperate. He was the most pitiful man I ever met. It was almost comical he was Bane's downfall. He must have really let his guard down around that spineless sap.

I fill my sister in on a little more gossip.

Xero:

I felt a bit to much pressure on my head to talk to her, but she misunderstood. There was little to say, this was a punishment. Ziara seemed to revel in it.

I slowly open my eyes not preferring to see her like.that..

The children are going to 'freak out' as they say.

Since my meditative state was broken already I give her an answer so she doesn't pester me continuously.

"No..I'm..just healing.."

I try to tune out the noises but it was hard. Landon was quite loud to counteract his blindness apparently.

(Connie): "Yes its me. Shh..sit.." He shoves him on a bean bag. "You got this buddy, use your other senses...sound and smell.. its just as good as seeing!"

Since I was awake I tune more into the sister's chatter.

(Ziara): (((Whatt?! Do you think theres some innner fighting between them? Or was that wraith just trying to be the new Flax..))

She asks thoughtfully. I am sure the KIng would have been impressed by that young wraith even if he was upset about it.
It would not surprise me....Flax was getting a little OLD and if you ask me should be retired like Ben

Vanessa:

My quiet companion responds in 4 little words.

I try not to get frustrated by him.

He did not seem to be compartmentalizing this last punishment like the rest of us were.

He was so quiet though it was hard to tell..

I tilt my head at Landon's insecurity he was far to old for it

"This must be a test, your the only one who got that done...a riddle you'll have to solve."

I sit down next to him thoughtfully.

The search for the Thorn Queen would be relentless, planet to planet wide, gating near and far surely the King does not mean to slow it down by this.

I can only hope it lessens the focus off Bane but he  did not even KNOW Bane was loose....

Ra's only saving grace. As much as I would like to expose him it does me no good now does it...

Landon:

I have never felt so isolated as this. The only comfort I had now was sound and even that was becoming alot.

I jump startled at a noise unable to recognize what it was or how close it was.

Snooping on Landon and Connie's conversation offered no insight to my fears but I listen in anyway.

(Connie): "Everything.. means something with the King Landy.. " He muses and busys himself cleaning up the lab mess.

((Sorex is just new. Once he is used up like the rest of us he will get less attention. ))

I answer, trying to avoid the actual question as to not hurt Ra's feelings.

(Landon) "I'm sure and what does everyone else have?"

Landon vocalizes in response to Connie.

Ra:

Nessy gives me a 'pity pat' I squint my eyes thoughtfully, saying no more.

The last four months with Sorex have been... intersting.

I try to leave them FEELING Xero's gaze as I return samples to the freezer passing by Landon and Connie.

Landon wanted to now the benefits of everyone's punishment.

Why was he referencing the tongue creatures and Xero's tats?

I jump slightly when I sense an object flying our way but it sounded like Connie caught it.

Vanessa refused to humor my QUESION. Then calls me Connie.

*makes a little whine of annoyance*

Is all I reply. SINCE she was vauge before.

Tori must be using her stretchiness on one o the others.. perhaps reaching low- descaling all the aquatic experiments that failed in the tunnels or reaching up to pluck the bat wings of the ones on top?

Vanessa:

I frown before standing up, wanting to go find her.

Xero was still healing so I wasn't sure if he could move right now and Landon may need some time to get used to his current state before he-

(Landon) "Let's go find Tori."

He gets up and starts feeling his way around,

I wander over to help guide him before turning to Ziara.
