Other kids from my class start arriving, and I try to find my BEST FRIEND Seti!

“Setiiiii this elf says she doesn’t know Santa!”

I tell him like it’s the biggest piece of gossip ever!

It was big too, intimating. I perk up when I see Timmy.

"Hey lab partner." My mouth gaps open at the news/
He met a elf a GIRL elf and she doesn't know Santa.

I look at her - still open mouth SHOCKED.

"Are you the KIng's elf then??"

I could only think the King would be important enough like Santa to have elfs.

Hathor:

I don't know what I did wrong.

My hands were shaking because of it.

Ra's sudden change in behaviour, was causing me to rethink everything.

I should not have changed. I should have stayed exactly the way I was.

He liked me better that way.

I try to keep up with him and do as I'm told but everything was happening so fast.

Learning things like his language and how to dress were still very new to me.

And I was also very tired.

My earliest memories were somewhat a blur, but smells and faces seemed to be the most triggering.

Ra I felt closest to because I had knew him the longest, and for a time, I thought maybe he cared for me too.

Now I am not so certain. Now, I don't know what to think.

I take what he gives me and do exactly as I am told.

"I'm sorry."

I say again as I did so many times before but it did not matter, I totally freaked him out.

I adjust my costume, finding it uncomfortable before heading into the party, tripping over my own feet along the way.

Walking upright like this was so awkward.

The children give me anxiety. All of them.

I inwardly panic at their sticky hands and many MANY questions.

(Landon) "Wha-ht?"

The Starker laughs with a goofy grin.

(Landon) "Nice accent man, I think last I saw him he was looking for a costume. Perhaps try one of the stands."

"Leave me alone or I will tell him not to bring you any gifts."

I hiss before tuning back into Bond's conversation.

(Landon) "Go easy on him brother."

He pats Bond's shoulder.

(Landon) "He's a good man."

I make a face at the interaction.

Before another child says something stranger.

"GET LOST!"

(Hathor) "Mom!!!!"

Another one runs over and hugs me.

“HOW are you gonna tell Santa not to get me gifts, if you just said you don’t know him?”

I give Seti a look like ‘she thinks we’re dumb but we’re NOT’!

“Woahhh the King has his own elves?!” *Totally believes it*

The Nightmare Night Queen runs over and says the other one is her mom!

“Ohhhh my King, Seti it’s the two fighting queens! I didn’t know they were elves, did you?”

*Chants of “Fight! Fight Fight!” erupt from the other kids nearby*

*Flirty runs back over sensing trouble*

(Flirty): “Get away from her you… *Wrenches Hathor away and sees her face* My Queen, I did not know you had a sister!”

“She’s not her sister, she’s her mom!”

*Flirty’s face trying to work out which way around that is and what that means*

I complement Xeros TERRIBLE jester-elf outfit. Whatever did he do to deserve that.

Did Vanessa really dress him like that??

I was about to go on ahead inside and see to Bane but I turn around SENSING something.

Hathor found... her mother..

Bane will have to WAIT.

I hurry back through the crowds embarrassed at such a scene.

Children were flocked all around, I told Hathor to find ONE not attract ALL.

(Seti): "The queens must have became hybrids this year, maybe someone threw cookies in the well! Billie didnt you say you'd do that?"

(Billie): "Uh oh I DIDNT..I SWEAR."

I glance at Seti for a moment then address the man.

"I'm so sorry about my daughter....its her first big party."

I tell the blonde elf with the biggest confusion on his face.

I am pulled away from mom by one of her soldiers.

Doesn't she recognize me???

The other kids continue talking in the background but I do not pay attention to them.

"Mom?"

I say again but she says nothing. She just looked back at me annoyed.

Her silence made me so upset.

Does she really not care about me at all?!

"Mom!"

I yell at her again, silently begging for her to explain herself.

She did not.

Ra comes into our scene and distracts me away long enough for her to disappear.

My eyes well up with tears and a painful lump develops in my throat.

She ran away.

I have always heard it said that the kingdom is a place of madness. And here it is, before my very eyes.

I am by no means an expert in science. However, I do not believe my Queen, nor this very young-looking man before me, could have possibly produced this Princess by standard mating. Which thank QUEEN, I was terrified this man could be a rival for a moment there!

I still give him a LOOK just in case, but I do not draw my weapon on him.

No explanation is given for why this Princess looks eerily similar to the Queen, instead she leaves in silence. I give the Princess a pitying look – I know what it is to be ignored by one’s Mother – before making my way after the Queen.

“Please, my Queen, it is dangerous to be alone in this place! What… what was that..?”

I glance around *wondering if a mini-Bond will come and say hi to him too*

I tug on the guy’s sleeve who says he’s the smaller wraith queen’s dad [Ra].

“Are you a wraith? You don’t look like a wraith! Did Billie give you cookies too?”

With my other hand, I tug on the smallerwraith queen’s sleeve.

I raise an eyebrow at the male's look, maybe I shouldn't have said father..to the guy who came with the mother.

Ah well it was more a cover for the loud mouth gossipy children.

I wince as the women runs away, that was rough. Somedays its nice my mother is a petrified bug shell on Los Lore's beach.

But more confusing was that fact Hattie had a MOTHER, how many sentient irdus bugs are there?? Is this a new sub evoluonary mutated species?

The children continue on as the first one asks Seti for a reminder of the night's end.

(Seti): "uh I think a Starker eats the winner..buuut shes a hybrid now so she cant be that bad right.. ?" He tries to look at Hatties hand for a slit just in case.

I look at the other kid peeved being called a wraith but I think it was because I said I was Hattie's father. Ok maybe that wasnt the best cover story for any of them.

"Nope not a wraith, I was a scorken, a completely different insectoid..but now im a hybird like everyone else...maybe just a little extra bug..ish" I clarify.

"I DO know Santa though and if you want to get on his good side, I have an idea of such a good deed to ..benfit the kingdom that he'll give you your hearts desire present. What do you boys say? Do you want to save Nightmare Night?"

((Look I wasnt aware you had a mother, nor did I think by any chance she would be here of all places... the majority of this Kingdoms was male but we can leave yet. You'll keep aging. I need to get the sample...and dont say you dont want to go on. I know it feels bad now but being dead is worst then how you feel. Lets go along with them for a little bit more..)) I encourage Hattie. I would need her to keep the kids looking the other way, I dont want them running their mouths if they see me take Setties blood.

I wipe my eyes with the corner of my sleeve and shake my head at the little boy.

I didn't even know who that was Sad

My other hand is taken by another boy but I couldn't be bothered to question it.

I just wanted to shrivel up and die!

I think dramatically to myself before dad says something to the other kids.

I wasn't paying attention.

He then encourages me to go along because apparently dying was worse.

Apparently.

I fold my arms and throw a temper tantrum.

"But I HATE it here!"

I wanna go home!

I stomp my foot giving Ra ATTITUDE.

I retreat inside an empty room and pull the soldier with to make sure we weren't followed.

"I don't know if I should be wandering around this place. My female form it drawing far too much attention."

I pace around on edge as the wraith asks of our latest encounter.

"I don't know."

I respond shaken.

Whoever the girl is, she is clearly confused.

"What a disaster."

I turn to the soldier.

"You might have to continue on without me while I stay here."

I suggest not having any better ideas at the moment.

How disappointing..but I wasnt going to say it to his face like Hattie's mother..

I privately add to the three, (plus Hattie so she knows their fake mission) letting the other brats just watch in awe.

Just get it and get out.))

I would recommend leaving the mission up to Grimwolf and his science brother, if not for the scene they pulled earlier. However did that wraith manage to pull the Hallowraith mission with such an attitude?!

“Perhaps a different disguise might do the trick? I’ve heard hybrids are VERY dumb, I’m sure if you were to cover up your, er, feminine features, they would not realise who you are! Then we can search for Jay together.”

*Will go and find Jean a baggy Santa costume with a beard if she wants santa

I set out to find my Queen a new costume!

“Call me if you need me, my Queen, and I shall come running!”

I try to be as fast as possible to ~~maximise my time with the Queen~~ not leave her alone for too long.

I order a few hybrids to tell me where I might find a costume, and finally one of them leads me to something called a ‘stall’. I ask the vendor for the most boring costume that covers a person from head to toe.

(Vendor): “What, you looking to avoid someone? Your ex here or something?”

“I don’t know what that is.”

(Vendor): “Sureee pretty boy, I’m sure you’ve never had a date in your whole life.”

“I have not.”

My serious tone throws him off. He then tries to talk to me about something called ‘credits’. It seems he would like 20 of them. However, I do not know what those are and cannot help him. Besides, I am wasting precious time. I simply grab the costume and run back to the Queen as fast as I can!

“Here you are, my Queen! Would you like me to stand watch outside the door while you change?”

Once finished, I dare not look at my reflection to see how ridiculous I looked.

I already knew.

We enter a new area with some poor alien who looked more ridiculous than I did (Xero).

I try to remain calm, I NEED to see THE BANE now before he really gets out.

Side stepping the kids want gadgets.

I glance over Settie as I look at them all trying to ponder what I can give them that wont result in death.

I give Timmy my smart watch - set the screensaver set to the King holding Rubyrose's head of course. So loyal. Nothing traitor worthy to snoop there.

I personally knew how they spy on you.

I dig in my bag.

I give Seti laser Handcuff.

(Seti): "Th..th..anks!" He stuffers and I try not to feel more embarrassment.

"For the enemies, dont fight just leave them there."

And finely to Bilie.

... I'm going to regret this.

I give him my utility belt. Figuring out of all of them his death would traumatize less since hes a very mass produced clone.

(Billie): "King-tastic!" He belts it from the shoulders like its amo.

"Good luck."

The King was here.

I see the crowds gather at the castle. he entered in a sleigh pulled by large white colored ant-horses.

I hope Ra gave Bane his dose...

I look down awkward and hurry off to go complete my task while the others are distracted.

I found a few signs and pictures of where I am supposed to go and follows those.

Part way there I remember the note and panic.

Did Ra even give it to me?

I rumage through my pockets and find it.

*Stands there for a moment wanting to read it.*

I then snap myself out of it, for fear of being caught and shove the note back away before proceeding on wards to finish my task.

Something called Steps comes up, and when I take a step, the number goes up!

“Seti, it works as a tracker too!”

We race over to the crowded Mirror Mansion. It must be really scary some older kids just ran out screaming. It was so packed too.

He stops us before I rush inside and I see the maps.

Wow Billie is smart.

i look at the map, it didnt give the answer how to get out of the maze but did show the center winning square its the last level. There were three.
