Grimweb:

I listen to the Queen's instructions finely understanding why she took the now.

Euw.

It still felt like an unpardoned sin to 'dispose' of a QUEEN... and MAKE one..
What a badass I am.

I think trying not to giggle.
Well It would probably be faster to turn try to reanimate the dead one but I really wanted to hope the jello head was special enough to be the REAL DEAL.

"Yes your majesty we will have it done as you say." I bow and shake my head having no further questions.

I got some of the scientist at work as a team effort. We worked more affinity then ever on Jean's hive, PURE FEAR DRIVEN NOT TO BE LOTTED WITH BOND.
I was even happy to sense our solider guys were given tasks by Bond to help on his end so they could be included too.

They totally all owe us. Score!

I get everything PERFECT for the bodies coming.

Odette:

"Good."

I respond to Grimweb's acknowledgement before leaving the labs in a mood to the dart bay.

(Nightwasp) "I'll bring the Queen's sister to the lab-"

He notices my presence as I give them a dark look and turn around to wait for him in the hall.

(Nightwasp) "Disregard my instructions and proceed with transporting the remains yourself. I have other matters to attend to."

He excuses himself from the scene before joining me just outside to give his report.

I am surprised when Nightwasp instructs me to transport the remains. Well, I suppose I got them this far. At least I shouldn’t have any Starkers gunning for me in Odette’s corridors.

I wait until all of the cargo is beamed out and dealt with, one way or another. I leave it to the scientists to load up the gurneys, simply escorting them over to Webster once they're ready.

Things become a bit clearer regarding my orders, as I pass by Odette and Nightwasp outside. Looks like they’re having ISSUES, not that it’s my place to question why. I figure the safest thing is to stay out of it, so pass by quickly without attempting to eavesdrop.

I smile at Webster in greeting when we reach our destination.

((All up to you now, little brother.))

I don’t think it, since I don’t want to pressure him, but this really is a make or break situation. If he fails, well… it'll likely be the end of both of us. But if he pulls this off, he could be on his way to being named Odette’s chief scientist. And at only 16 [I think?] quints old. I do wonder for a moment why Odette chose him for the job. Does she not already have good scientists, at least ones she trusts? Or does she think someone from our crew best suited, after all of Jean’s ‘mad science’ business?

((Anything I can do to help, you let me know.))

After so many years of being the one to keep us both safe, leaving all the responsibility on his shoulders feels wrong.

*Paces back and forth in frustration.*

....

ALL THAT PRESSURE ON ME??

I try not to faint, that would NOT be good. I could wake up a blobfish...

Wolfie asks if he can help, I try not to look at him in desperation to GET ME OUT OF THIS like so many times before.

No No, this time I have to save him!

((Your believe in me, means the world to me brother. Thats all the help I need.))

I try to say without staggering my thoughts and turn to ..face the table.

I can do this!

*DOES THE BEST HE CAN FOR THE GANG*

I smile at Webster stepping up.

Before I leave him to it, I remember what I planned to do as SOON as the mission was over.

I log into Wraithbook and immediately block Bond as well as the Old Commander. [JD was presumed dead in the battle so he is not blocked for now]

I ponder for a moment, before sending Nightwasp an ally request. I did save his kiester just now, so maybe he'll accept. Either way, it's a show of loyalty.

I take Webster's tablet and do the same. He doesn't need to be distracted with petty tasks while he's working, and it's something I can do for him.
