232:

I am ordered to go to the Queen’s chambers.

I go to the Queen’s chambers.

I see dirty laundry on the floor.

Laundry mode: activated.

I take the clothes to the washing machine.

I take replacement clothes from the pile of drone uniform clothes.

I put the clean clothes where the dirty clothes were.

I see no other tasks I need to perform.

I stand guard outside the room.

I wait for further instructions.

Jean:

I wake up from underneath the bath water and bolt up with a start.

How long was I out for?!

I get out of the tub in thought before putting on some clothes.

It took me a lot longer than I would like to admit to notice something was off.

These clothes were.. not mine.

"232!"

I cry out in exasperation before leaving my chambers and approaching him at my front door.

"Where are my cloths!?"

I yell at him

232:

I see My Queen come out of her chambers.

She asks me a question.

She wants to know where her clothes are.

I look down and see that she is wearing some clothes.

*Just points at her*

Jean:

*Blinks*

I miss Drone..

"These are NOT.."

I criss-cross my wrists into an "X".

"..MY clothes..."

I point to myself.

"..these are..."

I stretch the shirt out so he can see how big it is.

"..YOUR clothes!"

I point to his shirt he was wearing.

232:

My Queen tells me some new information.

The clothes she is wearing should not be regarded as her clothes. They should be regarded as my clothes.

I assimilate this information.

I nod.

I await further instructions.

*Just stands there*

Jean:

Idiot..

I take off the clothes I was wearing and throw them at him.

"Get me my clothes!"

I snap and shove him on my way back inside my chambers to let him know much he FAILED me today.

232:

The Queen requests that I get her clothes.

The Queen enters her chambers.

I follow her into her chambers.

I go over to her wardrobe.

The Queen did not specify the number or type of clothes, so I proceed to hand her each item from her entire wardrobe, until I am given further orders.

Jean:

I wanted to shoot him. I wanted to shoot him SO MUCH.

But I refrain..

"NO 232!"

I try to calm myself.

"I need you to get my work clothes. They are the ones you put in the wash remember?"

I sigh.

"Wait till my clothes are finished being washed and bring them back to my chambers."

I put on the blob fish pajamas for now

232:

I go to wait until the clothes have finished washing.

*Some time later*

Wash mode informs me that the wash cycle is over.

I make my way to the laundry room.

Another drone is attempting to put the clothes into the dryer.

My orders from the Queen give me the authority to shove him out of the way.

I bring the soaking wet clothes back to my Queen’s chambers.

Jean:

I was in my lab observing the blob fish and he too was observing me.

I don't think this disguise works very well..

It was not long after that 232 *cringe* enters our scene with my clothes which were all soaking wet.

.................

Very well, if he is too daft to do it right the first time, he will perform several trips back and forth to the laundry until he does it right.

I think to myself pretending this doesn't bug me BUT IT DOES.

"Thank you 232, now please bring those clothes to the dryer, dry them, then bring them back to the lab nicely folded."

I instruct.

232:

I am instructed to dry the clothes, and then fold them.

I take the clothes back to the laundry room.

The drone which I shoved is still present.

When he sees me put the clothes in the very same dryer he attempted to put them into earlier, he shoves me.

… I no longer have the authority to shove him back ;(

I wait for the clothes to be finished.

I fold the clothes nicely.

I take them to my Queen at the lab.

*Actually did his JOB!*

Jean:

I am SHOCKED when 232 finally completes the task I had asked him 4 times already to do.

"Very good, now go wait by the door for further instruction."

I command.

I will not be providing him with ANY MORE instructions and will hold off until Drone returns

*Sometime later*

Bond:

Before I make my way to the Queen, I feel the need to wrap my gifts. This is supposed to be a ‘secret surprise’ after all! But where to find wrapping paper..?

In the end, I must settle for wrapping them in some funky looking black bags I find in one of the science labs [trash bags].

With that, I do a few quick poses in my mirror, and then I’m ready to impress!

I head over to the lab where I sense our Queen. I try to go in, but I am SHOVED away from the door by 232! Oh no, did he mess up my hair?!

I quickly pull out my hand mirror to check, while 232 mentally asks the Queen for further instructions.

Jean:

I play around with a few simulations on the computer, trying to determine if there was any use involving AI in my research.

I really hope Jay is successful with his mission.

I think tiredly to myself before receiving a rather ambiguous message from 232.

Perhaps he is just checking in?

No.. that would require conscious thought which he certainly does not have.

I look up from my computer and sense another Wraith mind outside the door.

(To 232) ((The Wraith may enter my lab 232.))

Usually I would inquire of the nature of the visit, but with 232 at the door, I thought it best to keep our communications at a minimum  

Bond:

I used so much hair gel, even 232’s shove doesn’t cause me to lose my style! Lucky for me, since it looks like the Queen is ready to see me!

I sashay into the room, with the sack swung casually over my shoulder like a jacket.

“My Queen!”

I am careful in how I bow, so the sack does not move and cause me to lose my balance.

“I have just returned from the culling. Many a tale could I tell of my brave exploits down on that world. But they would all pale in comparison to the courage you have shown this day! And I thought to myself, someone who’s coolness cannot be defeated by even the coolness of space vacuum, deserves to be surrounded by just the coolest stuff!”

*Swings down sack and pulls out the first random binbag-wrapped gift*

“For you, my Queen!”

Jean:

The flirtatious Wraith soldier known as “Bond” enters my lab.

I tilt my head uncertain of his intentions when he explains his presence here.

This was.. quite irregular.

I stood up from my chair and carefully approach Bond as he hands me an object carefully wrapped in what looked to be a waste disposal bag.

He smelt strongly of hair gel.

……….

“What is this?”

I question him when I pull out the kaleidoscope.

It looked not dissimilar to my microscope, though I was too self-conscious to test it out in front of him in case I was wrong.

Bond:

I can tell from her expression that she RECOGNISES me!

If I can impress her with my gifts, maybe she’ll even start calling me by my name!

She asks what the first gift is.

“I am unsure exactly what purpose the humans used it for. But, if you hold this part up to your eye, and spin the other end, it creates a pattern: complex, beautiful and everchanging! Rather like your mind, my Queen, when you are coming up with your genius ideas.”

I try to throw in a sophisticated compliment, to make it seem even more cool!

I wait to see if she gives it a try, but also keep my bag open in case she prefers to open another present.

Jean:

I follow Bond's instructions and look through the kaleidoscope in his general direction, observing the colorful patterns it created as I spun the other end.

It was unclear what purpose the device served except to provide a brief moment's entertainment.

Perhaps it was a child's toy?

I thought quietly to myself before setting it down at Bond's flattery.

I give him a look.

Clearly he wished to win my favor despite our last encounter.

I was not sure what good it would do at this point.

I think rather depressed to myself before glancing over at his bag with an expressionless sort of look.

"Next."

I respond, not sure how to respond to any of this.

Bond:

Hmm, the Queen can be very mysterious sometimes. I cannot tell if she thought the gift was like, the coolest thing, or kind of a dud…

I believe she wants me to select the next gift.

I rifle through the sack. No, not the cat cushion… That bad boy’s gotta be the finale!

Ah!

I pass her the umbrella.

“This gift will ensure that nothing will rain on your parade!”

Jean:

I completely ignore the umbrella and get real close to Bond instead.

"Enough flattery Bond, what do you want?"

I narrow my eyes at him.

No other Wraith is doing this so why him?

Bond:

Did I overdo it with the puns? I think I may have overdone it with the puns…

My Queen gets VERY close to me, and my heart rate goes into overdrive. I feel myself start to sweat and pray it isn’t coming through my shirt.

“Oh, I think you know what I want.” Is the cool response I SHOULD have given! But between the nerves, and you know, it being like the worst thing to lie to your Queen, I give a very lame response instead.

“I guess… I just… wanted you to like me, because I… like you… Not just to mate with - although I imagine that would be *hic* - but just… to be… er… er...”

I can’t think of the word, so instead I hold up the bouquet of flowers I stole.

Jean:

Bond breaks out of character and I finally get to see who he is.

I blush.

An unfortunate response soley related to my Siragen side.

I try and snap myself out of it before proceeding.

"You are trying too hard."

I fake indifference.

"I already like you or you wouldn't be here."

I say matter of factly before taking his flowers and smelling them.

Bond:

Could it really be? My Queen LIKES me?! So much so that she even BLUSHES?!?!

         

Maybe one day she’ll let me call her by her first name! ;O

I try to play it cool so it DOESN’T look like I’m trying too hard!

“Of course, of course… Would you like the rest of these, or is that too much?”

I indicate the sack, where the cat cushion and other goodies wait to be unwrapped

Jean:

I give him a look.

The gifts were too much but I needed a break from staring at the computer and was bored anyways..

"Ok, let's see the rest."

I take a package out and raise my eyebrows in surprise when I look inside.

"A torture stick?"

***it's the fire poker***

Bond:

“Uh oh, guess I’ll need a ‘shield’ to defend myself with!”

I say as I pop open the umbrella, and do a cool pose with it held out in front of me.

“Do you enjoy sparring, my Queen?”

I ask, genuinely curious. She has always been such a high figure, someone to be respected and adored, but from a distance. It is rare to be in her presence long enough to ask those sorts of personal questions, so I make the most of my opportunity.

Hopefully she doesn’t find it impertinent and stick me with the poker
